The Second Treasurey of Magical Knitting

Recently Cat's love of Addi Turbo needles led to a second discovery, that a Moebius scarf can be very easily and quickly cast on to a coiled 47" or 60" Addi Turbo needle, and knit from the center outward.

Published in June, 2004, A Treasury of Magical Knitting presents her original Meobius Cast-On (which is so simple that in workshops she usually demonstrates it behind her back!) and offers thirty-three designs based on the cast-on, including hats, scarves, wraps, capes, and felted footwear. A second volume, an enchanting collection of forty-one designs for bags, baskets, bowls, and cat beds, titled A Second Treasury of Magical Knitting, was released in January, 2005.

Beaded Envelope Purse

This class will center on a beaded bag using a "non pre-stringing technique." A petite beaded bag with an over the shoulder strap is comfortable but short enough to be secured by your elbow. This contouring body hugging bag will be beautifully beaded for evening wear or any occasion you wish to make special.

Materials:
One skein of fingering weight yarn. Example: Koigu Needles #2 & #3.
