Saturday and Sunday August 20th and 21st.
Judy, a Connecticut native, launched her career as an instructor and designer in the early 1990's. Although she taught knitting classes at a yarn shop in earlier years, Judy now exclusively teaches knitting and design classes throughout the nation. You will find her at the XRX Stitches Conventions, at TNNA, and at TKGA. Her outstanding designs, enigmatic personality, and excellent teaching skills make her classes a unique, rewarding experience. Join us for her Standup Beaded Purse, Beaded Eyelet w/beaded fringe scarf, and the Beaded Belt. Registration for both class days will be open July 15th, each class is limited to 24 students (first come first serve), and the fee for each day (9:00am - 4:00 pm) will be $60. Beaded Belts

Enhance a skirt or a pair of jeans with beaded belts either using a Vine Lace pattern or an Eyelet pattern. Finish the Eyelet Belt with an optional beaded fringe.

Materials:
A half skein of fingering weight yarn. Example: Koigu
Needle size: #5 either straight needles or 24" circular needles.

Beaded Shawlette

This Class will be a hands-on workshop to embellish the shapelyshawlette through creative pattern work with a non "pre-stringing" beads technique. It should impel you to increase your collection of this adaptable wardrobe basic.

Materials:
A skein of solid color fingering weight for beading. Needles 24" long in size #9. Stitch neecdles can also be used for samples. Ring markers to identify center stitch.

Beaded Cell Phone Purse

In this workshop you will learn to create a Cell Purse with an attached strap. This strap allows you to wear your Cell Purse right onto your belt. The clever way of working the strap at the same time as the bag is a technique that can be used for other projects.

The texture stitch pattern can be beaded or is attractive without beads along with optional strap. It makes a stunning protective purse for your cell phone whether you wear it or store it in your handbag.

Materials:
Bring a small ball of fingering weight yarn for sample. Straight or circular needles size #2.

Beaded Scarf

This no pre-stringing class develops a unique fashion accessory - "The Beaded Scarf." In addition to viewing completed scarf's modeled in a variety of ways, you will knit critical segments of a mini version of the provided entire patterns.

Materials:
Half skein of Solid color fingering weight yarn for class sample. Needles size 6 & 7 either 24" circular or straight. Ring and split markers.

Beaded Envelope Purse

This class will center on a beaded bag using a "non pre-stringing technique." A petite beaded bag with an over the shoulder strap is comfortable but short enough to be secured by your elbow. This contouring body hugging bag will be beautifully beaded for evening wear or any occasion you wish to make special.

Materials:
One skein of fingering weight yarn. Example: Koigu Needles #2 & #3.
