  Knit For The Cure Logo

Knit for the Cure is a charitable knitting campaign that raises money for breast cancer and research through the generous spirit and talent of knitters from across the United States. Knitters and crocheters donate scarves, hats, and purses which are then sold at the Komen Foundation’s Los Angeles County Race for the Cure® in Pasadena with 100% of the proceeds going to support breast cancer research and treatment. Any style of scarves and hats is acceptable as long as they incorporate the color pink. Knit for the Cure launches every year during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and all hand-knit or crocheted items can be dropped off to participating donation sites.
